Delete your account

In the app

1. Open Wayfauna and go to the Progress tab.
2. Scroll to Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and can't be undone. The app then starts you fresh with a new, empty account.

What gets deleted

• Your account, including your Sign in with Apple link if you saved with Apple
• Catches, field notes and research levels
• Sightings and their photos (photos are removed from storage within 24 hours)
• Chrysalises, walking and step totals, and your patch
• Station visits, place suggestions and reports

Places you suggested that were already approved stay on the map as ordinary field stations, with nothing linking them to you. See the privacy policy for more.

Can't open the app?

If you saved your account with Apple, email support@example.com from the address linked to your Apple ID (or tell us your Apple private relay address) and we'll delete it within 30 days. An account that was never saved has no email attached, so we can't identify it — deleting the app removes your access to it, and you can delete it in the app first if you reinstall.
